Dispatcher – US trucking industry
General functions of the role:

-Booking Loads
-Track and trace drivers
-Communicate issues
-Provide shipment updates
-Take initiative to identify and handle potential problems
-Enter load information into company software


What we're looking for:

-Work in OFFICE
-Previous experience in the US trucking industry
-We are working with Reefer and Van Hazmat equipment
-Team player able to work in a very fast-paced environment
-Fluent English speaking and writing skills-Proficient with Microsoft Products, general computing skills
-Highly organized, self-starter with the ability to work independently
-Excellent written and verbal communications skills
-Positive, collaborative, flexible, can-do attitude

Job Summary:
The dispatcher books load, communicates with brokers & drivers, oversees transportation of goods and administrates paperwork.
Essential Job Functions
• Receives shipment orders via email/phones.
• Communicates with customers and/or truck drivers for shipping confirmation, cargo status and delivery instructions, etc.
• Requirements:
Previous experience in the US trucking industry (must have at least 2 years). We are working with Reefer and Van Hazmat equipment. Experience using a load board, Experience dispatching trucks, Effective communication Skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, After hours and weekend availability.
