Aziwell AS is a Norwegian company that provides Directional Core Drilling services and borehole navigation for the mining and infrastructure industry world-wide. Our products are characterized by the combination of advanced mechanical- and electronic technology. We have experienced a rapid growth of our world-wide drilling operations and we are searching for motivated and driven Field Technicians to join our company.

Responsibilities

We are searching Field Technicians that is willing to work on rotations, typically 4 weeks on, 4 weeks off, supporting Aziwell projects around the globe. The majority of the work is currently in Europe, North America and South America. In the future we expect to expand into Australia, Asia and Africa as well. Our goal is to make you into a reliable Field Technician that can support the company’s international operations; as such you will be trained to provide our full range of field services;

- Operate state-of-the-art equipment, such as our Directional Core Barrel, borehole survey instrumentation and corresponding software.
- Perform borehole planning by in-house software.
- Work independently as a drill site technician/supervisor during directional drilling operation.

Requirements and necessary skills;

We are looking for candidates with an engineering degree that also has good practical and/or mechanical skills and willing to work on rotation. Experience from mining, drilling or geotechnical construction is considered a plus. We can also consider highly skilled mechanics with good computer skills. We also require the following skills:

You have a positive attitude, willing to learn, and got good communication skills and speak and write English well. Bilingual candidates are highly sought after.
You are able to work in harsh environments and have good physical strength.
You are able to work under stressful conditions and be problem solving oriented.
You possess a valid driver's license with a clean record.
