For our Advanced Analytics and Modelling Department we are currently looking for a motivated

Data Science Expert

The main responsibilities for the position are:

• Development of statistical models, machine learning and other analytical solutions in the Risk domain (for example, application, behavioral, transactional scoring models as well as parametric – PD, LGD, EAD).
• Development of statistical models, machine learning and other analytical solutions in the Business domain (for example, propensity-to-buy, churn, clients’ segmentation);
• Initial and periodic review as well as on-going monitoring of operating models applying a wide range of statistical techniques and measures to capture anomalies and potential deficiencies in the model development phase. Define indicators and track quality of model inputs on an on-going basis based on predefined metrics.
• Perform quantitative research related to models implementation into Bank`s landscape and internal processes. Implement behavioral models and analytical solutions/algorithms for models performance monitoring.
• Develop algorithms for data flows optimization and automate data flows using SQL, SAS, Python and MS Azure resources. Support the implementation of scalable and efficient cloud-based solutions for data analytics.
• Orchestrate scripts and scoring procedures used for data extraction and data warehousing for the needs of advanced analytics. Ensure high quality of ETL procedures incorporating data quality indicators and performance metrics.
• Provide end-users with data visualization solutions using Power BI or Tableau. Design, construct data visualization reports and promote BI tools;

Our requirements:

• Master University degree in IT, Statistics, Quantitative Finance or other Applied Sciences.
• 1+ year of experience in the field of credit risk scoring solutions development or validation, big data modelling, data science, database modelling and administration. Years of experience and qualification will be reflected in the seniority of the expert position.
• Previous experience with creation and maintenance of DBs (Post-gre DB, SQL, Oracle), data pipeline orchestration tools (ETL procedures) and/or expertise in cloud-based platforms will be considered as a strong advantage.
• Excellent technical skills and advanced usage of SAS, SQL, R or Python programming languages.
• Excellent knowledge of major data science principles.
• Result orientation and time management skills.
• Fluency in English language.
