We are currently looking for a positive and organized Payroll Specialist to join our Finance & Accounting team in Sofia, Bulgaria. This role is open for a hybrid working model (a combination of working from the Sofia office and working from home) with working hours between 12 and 8 pm. Responsibilities - Prepare, process, and track all documents related to the conclusion, amendments, and termination of employment agreements - Complete and keep employees’ personnel files in accordance with the applicable legislation, state requirements and regulations, and the internal company policy - Actively participate in the overall payroll process - Track and process sick leaves and time-off requests - Complete various types of official notes and certificates upon request - Prepare reports for the management - Communicate with employees in regard to their employment and personal files - Communicate with the health and safety service Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in a similar role - Relevant university degree or additional qualification - Knowledge of the Bulgarian Labor Code and related legislation - Excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Word/Excel and Google applications - Previous experience with payroll software - Expertise or degree in Accounting/ Finance will be considered an advantage - Well-organized, flexible, and with attention to detail person - Good time management and prioritization skills - Responsible and team-oriented person - Good command of English, both verbal and written |
