For the Data Governance Department Postbank is searching for a motivated:

Data Governance Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and support data governance solutions to enable business delivery;
• Perform day-to-day operations in support of various data governance initiatives across the data lifecycle (Collect, Store, Process, Transform, Analyze, Visualize);
• Work closely with the business units in order to develop data governance organization in line with the Data Governance Framework;
• Support the Bank’s Data Governance Program and its deployment through various data governance activities, including, but not limited to:
o Data domains segmentation
o Data Ownership & Stewardship
o Business glossary/catalog
o Data quality
• Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality solutions and standards across the Bank;
• Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements;
• Organize and coordinate the common standardized data description and classification across the Bank;
• Report to the Head of Data Governance Department.

We expect:

• University degree in finance or IT
• Previous experience in any data governance aspects (such as data governance frameworks, data ownership, master data management, meta data management, data quality) will be considered as an advantage
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills and ability to work closely with Business Teams to understand their requirements and translate them into practical data governance solutions
• A very good command of English
• Solid technical skills in analytical tools – SQL, Excel, etc. An experience with any leading data quality and BI tool will be considered as an advantage.
