General Manager / Center Director

For a new Company in Bulgaria, an UK head-quartered Company with already large operational sites in Romania, Ukraine, Moldova is looking for its Centre Director for Bulgaria. The Company is growing quickly and is focusing onto professional services in the area of software development across technologies, consulting and technology services to adopt digital technologies like transition to cloud platforms, transforming manual processes/automating using digital solutions.

As a Center Director, you will be the Company General Manager and official representative. You will own the budgeting, profitability and the business unit operation, as well as to manage the local brand marketing and the growth of the newly established operation. Your background is a mix of Finance, HR, Marketing and People Management.

Responsibilities
• Implements corporate strategy at business unit level.
• Oversees daily center operations and coordinates center activities.
• Prepares and monitors financial budgets for the Centre.
• Inter-departmental cooperation (Finance, HR, Quality and Standards, Delivery, Sales etc.)
• Prepares periodic reports and financial statements for Senior Management Team
• Leads and reports on center projects, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
• Represents center in public relations with external agencies
• Develops relationships with trade bodies and educational establishments
• Serves as central point of contact for negotiation with legal and financial providers
• Aides in marketing and public relations for the company
• Responsible for overseeing facilities and maintenance projects
• Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement
• Generates opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships

• Induction & Onboarding
• Conducting performance reviews

Requirements:
• Strong leadership skills and skills to build and manage a successful team
• Knowledge of organizational practices as well as to IT organizations.
• Must have “team” approach and work with the Company units and departments.
• Skill in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Demonstrated leader with effective problem solving & decision-making skills
• Strong English skills in in both verbal and written communication.
• Skill in coordinating and prioritizing work and activities of self and others.
• Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities.
• Well organized and able to prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and every changing work environment.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
