AD SALES EXECUTIVE (1-YEAR CONTRACT)

JOB DESCRIPTION

Implements and makes the TWDC Sales strategy operational with a detailed action plan, and executes it accordingly in order to achieve the set targets; assists the Ad Sales Director Bulgaria on the sales and marketing efforts towards existing advertisers of The Walt Disney Company Bulgaria, and establishes relationships with potential new advertisers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for achieving the forecasted sales targets that are set for the fiscal year.
• Realizes ad sales deals for the channels of The Walt Disney Company Bulgaria; negotiates budgets and deals.
• Follows the execution of each deal until its concluding, as well as follows all the related campaigns and works to maximize the revenues for the channels of The Walt Disney Company Bulgaria and hit the monthly targets.
• Responsible for taking the action of targeted agencies and clients.
• Business development - searches for new clients and sales possibilities on the market.
• Maintains contact with agencies and advertisers; participates in events with/for agencies/advertisers.
Gets in touch with:
- Media and Advertising agencies – constantly; Levels: directors, client service, media planners, people from the creative departments; Aim: selling and keeping an active and useful partnership.
- Media shops – constantly; Levels: directors, media planners; Aim: selling and keeping an active and useful partnership.
- Direct clients - constantly; Levels: CEOs or owners, Marketing directors, brand managers, manager „Advertising” and „Communication strategies”, PR managers, managers „Sponsorship and Special events”; Aim: selling and keeping an active and useful partnership
• Prepares and executes presentations for the channels of The Walt Disney Company Bulgaria, particular programs/products/services.
• Prepares offers by request and also proactively create proposals for new projects and clients.
• Prepares final post-campaign report/balance between The Walt Disney Company Bulgaria and agency/client – on monthly, quarterly, yearly basis.
• Tracks agencies performance in The Walt Disney Company Bulgaria – follows and prepares the final reports about the agency bonuses.
• Meets the both targeted clients and agencies on regular bases.
• Responsible to persuade new clients.
• Prepares the regular notifications for the products of the channels to be announced to agency / client groups via e-mailings, newsletters etc.
• Checks on first reading the received media plans from agencies (or prepared internally by us). Ad Sales Executive has to check plans according to the actual rate card or specific contract/ deal about: correct/not correct parameters prices, target group, negotiated budgets and discounts, bonuses, mistakes, lacks and etc. approves and sends the confirmed to the Ad Sales Specialist for booking
Prepares, organizes and follows special-to-client projects based on programming and the actions of the clients. Briefs the marketing and creative team to create projects. Responsible for being the communications point between the sales team and creative/production department
• Prepares a meeting summary after every meeting and shares it with the client, with the Ad Sales team and with the Marketing department (if needed).
• Maintains knowledge about the performance of the channels of The Walt Disney Company Bulgaria – ratings, shares, actual and future program and projects.
• Follows and keeps track of all the advertisement transactions in the sector, including other media.
• Reviews client actions from the relevant database.
• Reports to the Finance and Ad Sales Manager about ordered and confirmed media plans, final post- campaign reports to client/agency, agency rebate report
• Maintains a deep knowledge of the market – clients’ activities, competitors, influencing The Walt Disney Company Bulgaria Ad Sales strategy development and provides regular feedback to the Ad Sales Director.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High education in economics, media, marketing or related fields.
• Previous experience in media sector as sales executive, client service or related.
• Significant knowledge and working experience of ad sales processes.
• Good knowledge of the local media and advertising market;
• Results orientation; commercially minded.
• Strong team player; collaborative attitude
• Practical approach to problem solving; track record of demonstrating initiative.
• Interest in the media industry; desire to work in a creative environment.
• Good sales, negotiation, presentation, analytical, high communication skills.
