We are looking for Head of Digital Procurement to join our client’s team. Our client is a leading international company.

We are seeking an experienced, people-oriented, passionate and with strong natural leadership individual to join and lead the Global Procurement Team. The Head of Digital Procurement must be extremely collaborative and possess a positive attitude and willingness to take on responsibilities to grow the team, empowering and enhancing the team's skill sets and motivating their career paths within the organization as needed. Additionally, this candidate should have the mindset and desire to "make a difference" every working day. The ability to adapt and be flexible is critical. You must be a confident communicator both written and verbal with the skills to deal with external stakeholders, colleagues, Executive and Board members.

Head of Digital Procurement

The position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Role Responsibilities
• Lead the company's Procurement function
• Managing projects & prioritizing requests
• Create the digital procurement strategy of the future and be responsible for successful implementation of procurement processes, tools, and analytics that support the procurement organization
• Optimize procurement and supply chain management across multiple projects simultaneously
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Work with procurement leadership to drive Supplier Quality programs within the organization to establish best-in-class supplier quality and to ensure successful supplier relations through technical support
• Manage Supply Risk and Compliance to reduce supply chain vulnerability
• Coordinates and continuously delivers regular (e.g., monthly) reporting on the process performance (KPI)
• Provides support for external and internal audits
• Ensure day-to-day procurement operational activities according to targets set and in respect with SLA
• Provide day-to-day leadership and guidance to the existing Procurement team
• Work with the team on an ongoing basis to improve performance and attain their professional development goals by directing, coaching, and supporting

Role Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related fields. Masters or MBA preferred
• Minimum of 6 years relevant work experience including leadership experience
• Experience with analytics, systems implementations, and ERP systems required
• Experience with Supplier and Operations related quality, continuous improvement, and risk management
• Effective communication skills both in written and verbal presentation with a communication style that is open and fosters trust, credibility, and understanding
• Strong leadership, coordination, and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated success leading the work of culturally diverse teams
• Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, development, and compliance
• Inspires confidence and shows desire to achieve high standards
• Self-starter with a willingness to try new ideas
• Positive, can-do attitude coupled with a sense of urgency
• Good judgment and ability to act decisively at the right time
• Ability to collaborate effectively, promote teamwork
• Fluency in English is required
• Solid analytical and computer skills
