Junior Project Manager with Italian

Role Summary:
Reporting to Manager, Central Project Management, working within GTT’s Project Management team, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing Customer projects from Project Initiation to release to Operations. The Project Manager will own and manage the delivery of small to large and complex customer solutions through the effective coordination of internal GTT Service Delivery teams and external third-party service delivery partners. They will also support and engage closely with the customer’s project team. The Project Manager will be the single point of contact for all deliverables within the projects, meet required quality levels, budgets and timescales; utilizing the GTT Project Management methodology.

Internal Departments they will interact with:
Project Manager will work closely with Central Delivery Teams, Regional Sales Teams and other Project/Programme Management teams to implement new projects and solutions for the customer. Making use of our Technical Teams to ensure that those solutions meet the expectations of the customer.

Main Responsibilities:
• Managing Projects with a variety of products.
• Typically managing up to 6 projects at a time, dependent on size and complexity.
• Project ownership from Project Initiation through to Customer Operations.
• Setup a manage a virtual Project team
• Manage all communications on the project
• At a minimum host a weekly internal and external customer call
• Provide weekly internal and external Project Status Reports
• Produce and maintain a Project Initiation Document, including the scope of the project and the customer critical success factors
• Monitor the project using a tracker, MS Project, and the GTT – ideal Project Management Methodology.
• Identify and Manage Risks, Issues, Actions and Dependencies throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Cost Tracking, Budget and Forecasting. Ensuring the business and customer know when to expect charges/revenues.
• Adhere to GTT’s Change Control Procedure
• Report time spent on the project against what has been sold to the customer
• Pass frequent Gate Control Checks with your manager to ensure Quality standards are being adhered
• Assist with GTT’s - ideal Project Methodology, suggesting and improving the fast-paced environment

Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Minimum 2 years project coordinator or project management experience in telecommunications or
• Experience in a PMO or PM function with knowledge of PM principles
• Additional business qualifications would be considered a benefit
• English communication skills are mandatory
• Fluency in Italian (Spanish is optional)
