Clinical Application Specialist

To ensure the expansion of our Operations Center in Sofia, Bulgaria we are now looking to recruit an English speaking CLINICAL APPLICATION SPECIALIST.

The CLINICAL APPLICATION SPECIALIST is responsible for resolving customers’ requests for assistance on clinical supply chain applications in English and other languages over various communication channels, including but not limited to: telephone, e-mail, chat, social media, etc. while being compliant with good clinical practices.
Core requirements for the Clinical Application Specialist’s role are consistent customer care, maintaining high quality standards, timely reporting, excellent assessment of case criticality, ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and fluctuations in workflow.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive support services, to support center customers within the Service Level Agreements;
  • Take all steps to troubleshoot reported issues and resolve or escalate to the appropriate level of competence;
  • Cover all Clinical Application Support services – navigation, how-to questions, user management, and study specific questions;
  • Evaluate the issue criticality based on established criteria;
  • Identify and escalate issues involving un-blinding, screening, randomization, and drug dispensation;
  • Identify and escalate cases requiring data correction in the Clinical Application systems;
  • Create and submit detailed case logs documenting customer interactions;
  • Perform back office assignments (closeout work, system administration etc.) and special projects as assigned by management.

Job requirements:

  • Fluency in English (verbal and written);
  • Customer support experience (Life Sciences/ Healthcare Industry will be considered an advantage);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills;
  • Attention to details;
  • Willingness to learn and obtain new skills and competencies;
  • Availability to work on 24/7 schedule;
  • Ethics, Team work and Positive attitude;
  • High school diploma;
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Windows and Internet applications;
  • Knowledge in Clinical Applications will be considered an advantage;
