Country Finance Manager

We are giving the oportunity of a prospective applican to join us as a Country Finance Manager. 

Main scope of the role

Working in an international matrix environment, the Country Finance Manager sets and implements the financial control and accounting policies and procedures in compliance with the Adecco Group principles and policies. The position supports management in taking major business decisions by providing financial analysis.   The Country Finance Manager leads a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance of accounting and reporting principles and processes with local GAAP procedures and US GAAP procedures (Group reporting), preparing the analysis and justification of the P/L and balance sheet accounts every month
  • Ensure timely production of accurate management, Group and statutory reporting
  • Prepare audit and filing of statutory accounts as per local and group deadlines interacting with external and internal auditors
  • Manage tax issues, tax returns, payments and reporting
  • Prepare the business annual budget and monthly forecasts
  • Ensure the consolidation of the different IT Finance systems
  • Responsible for financial policy of the company by managing its finances
  • Participate in making key financial decisions for the company, as well as for the future of the company
  • Supervise the preparation of the budget, its implementation and monitoring
  • Control the operating costs of all business structures of budget: loans, receivables, liquidity, etc.. and optimizes the cost of the company
  • Assess the financial risks of investments, transactions, deposits, etc.., recommends investments, and then controls the rate of return on capital employed
  • Develop, analyze and implement short-, medium-and long-term strategies and plans of the company's financial
  • Controls the company’s finance liquidity
  • Monitor compliance of financial procedures with law and tax rules
  • Supervise the preparation of financial statements
  • Supervise contacts with external financial institutions, negotiates the terms of deposits and loans, authorizes payments
  • Support sales management through its influence on decisions concerning the operation of various departments within the company, planning purchases, personnel administration, marketing actions, production planning, etc..
  • Estimate the need to engage external advisers and make choosing the right consultant or auditor
  • Represent the company externally
  • EVA and EBITA monitoring, DSO management
  • Manage supplier`s contracts
  • Manage a team of professionals, including recruitment, training, mentorship, assessment, disciplinary, workflow management and time keeping.
The successful applicant is likely to have the following profile:
  • University degree (MBA, Business administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting)
  • Strong English language skills – both written and verbal
  • International professional qualifications in finance: ACCA, CIMA or Chartered Accountant
  • Experience in strategic planning process - from creating a plan to implement it
  • technical, organised, rigorous and process focused
  • highly developed analytical thinking abilities, conceptual and strategic work,
  • very good law and tax regulations knowledge
  • strong personality with excellent communication skills
  • business orientation
  • Strong presentations and analytical skills 
  • Ability to interact with various management levels
  • People management skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
An advantage would be considered: 
  • 2+  years of experience on a similar position, preferably in the service sector
  • experience of managing a finance team in multinational group environment in terms of structure, required headcount and skills, allocation of responsibilities and supervision
  • experience working with ERP - ERP implementation will be added value
  • Early career experience in Audit or CPA companies
