3D Character Artist

As a 3D character artist, you will develop 2D concept art into 3D game models for AAA video games. You will apply core artistic skills on a daily basis аs well as use various digital tools and techniques to create in-game models of a character’s face, costume, hair and other necessary assets. You will work closely with the team Lead, Concept Art team and others to deliver characters, which fully support the artistic and creative vision of the project.

  • with teammates, as well as other job families in the studio

Your skills

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience as a Character Artist or another position with a relevant skill set

KNOWLEDGE

  • Very good digital sculpting skills – preferably in ZBrush
  • Very good low-poly modeling and UV mapping skills - in 3DS Max or equivalent software
  • Very good texturing skills in Substance Painter, and understanding of PBR work flow
  • Good understanding of human anatomy
  • Great understanding of form, shape, silhouette and rhythm with regard to character modeling
