Payroll Assistant

Your Role:

The Role of the Payroll Assistant is to ensure smooth and well-structured process of payroll and personnel administration.
In long term perspective the Payroll Assistant must ensure all processes within 60K that relate to employment law are properly executed and fully responding to the Bulgarian official legislation requirements.
In short term perspective the Payroll Assistant is focused on proper execution of day-to-day tasks that refer to employment, contracts preparation, salaries preparation, advising staff members on different matters relating to employment law.

 Your Responsibilities:

  • To maintain personnel folders and ensure clear staff administration process;
  • To execute on daily basis all operations which relate to personnel administration such as: new employees' appointment, contracts and documents preparation, employment contracts registration and/ or termination, paid/ unpaid leave allocation, sick leave maintenance, etc.;
  • To make check-ups and calculations of aggregate working hours/ shifts of the employees on monthly basis;
  • To maintain the company policy in regards of absenteeism thus ensuring low and affordable levels of missing employees;
  • To prepare and enter salaries on monthly basis;

Our Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of a previous working experience as a Payroll and Personnel administration specialist;
  • University degree - Human Resources Management, Economics, Law;
  • Professional experience in payroll and personnel administration in a company with 500+ employees;
  • Professional experience in a BPO and/ or a Contact Centre will be considered an advantage;
  • Excellent knowledge of Bulgarian Employment Law regulations and Labour Code;
  • Operational experience in working hours calculation and salary preparation both for regular and aggregate shifts;
  • Problem solving skills and detail oriented;
  • Previous experience as a Consultant in regards of Employment Law would be considered an advantage.
