Commercial Operations Specialist

Falcon.io is looking for someone to support our rapidly expanding global teams with anything related to the commercial side of contracts. You will work closely with our operational departments, own several administrative contracting processes and collaborate across the globe to help us streamline our commercial practices. 

As Commercial Contract Specialist, you will be responsible for processing contract change requests, cancellations and other contract related requests, and you will assure that our system registers new incoming contracts correctly. Together with your colleagues within the Commercial Operations team, both in Chennai and our other global offices, you assure that our systems run reliably, help us identify and resolve issues as well as develop and roll out new processes. 

You will be joining the Commercial Operations team, which is a cross departmental unit working with all commercial teams on optimising the business. What you'll do:
  • Be the main point of contact globally, for changes, cancellations, as well as related requests 
  • Register and keep a tight overview of all incoming contracts (don’t worry, the majority is automated) 
  • Take care of internal contract related requests and questions from our commercial teams 
  • Help reporting and reviewing our main contract related metrics. 
  • Assist with data processing and identify, report and resolve system issues in our contracting system 
  • Work with a state-of-the-art contract management system 
  • Help represent the Commercial Operations team in Chennai, help with ad-hoc request and share information between the teams. 
What you have:
  • You are very organised and structured in your approach. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a willingness to work with people across the organisation 
  • While working closely with the Copenhagen team, you will need to be able to make independent decisions and stand your ground. 
  • As we are originally a Scandinavian company, we value work-life-balance, though as you are supporting the global teams we need a certain degree of flexibility. 
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. And you don’t mind communicating online and with people from different backgrounds. 
  • You have a superior attention to detail and an ability to easily spot inconsistencies. 
  • You will focus mostly on the commercial side of contracts, so no detailed legal knowledge is required. 
  • Although not required, it is a bonus if you have experience with CRMs (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Freshsales, etc.)
