Head of Organisation department

Four main areas of responsibilities of the Head of Organisation position:

  • 1. Project and Portfolio Management: assuring that Bank’s strategy is adequately supported by the projects we kick off – on one side innovation/transformation projects that bring the highest commercial impact and value to our customers, and on another side projects that assure best-in-industry regulatory and/or cyber security requirements. 50+ projects are active on average in our portfolio. A dedicated team of 15 professional project/portfolio managers are not only assuring individual projects get delivered but also assign priority, manage project interdependency; assure main stakeholders engagement.
  • 2. Sizing & Efficiency: a dedicated team of 6 professionals is constantly measuring and monitoring efficiency in key processes in the Branch and in the Back Office. Ultimate goal is to spot bottlenecks or inefficiencies and by starting with the customer need applying Lean Six Sigma methodology to improve the process by eliminating waste, improving speed and quality, improving customer satisfaction
  • 3. Business Process Management: process is at the core of Bank’s operations. Be it a project, an efficiency improvement, launching a new product, or establishing a new team, we must ensure the most sustainable and customer-centric end-to-end process. A team of 14 process experts assure consistency of the processes and the internal document framework in the Bank.
  • 4. Cost & Outsourcing Management: assuring that investments are channeled in initiatives/areas that deliver highest return on investment. Managing cost/investment approval process. Monitoring monthly utilization of cost/investment budgets. Identifying areas for cost optimization and driving actions to deliver savings. Outsourcing management: evaluation if given contracted service is considered outsourcing; thereafter performing evaluation of outsourcing-relevant clauses; performing risk assessment of the service as well as feasibility and back-up scenarios; regular monitoring of the outsourced services of the Bank
  • In the context of above areas of responsibilities and besides the direct steering of the teams, the Head of Organisation Department (and his team managers) is often engaged in activities related to strategy definition of the Bank, as well as set of projects; skills/competences; organizational changes needed to deliver the strategy. The entire team of Organisation has direct and daily interaction with UniCredit Group (Holding Italy) steering teams.

The appropriate candidates must have:

  • University education in finance & banking ,business administration, economics or other relevant majors;
  • 5+ years proven leadership track
  • Change and transformation management mindset;
  • Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role;
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, strategic thinking, powerful communication and execution skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and results orientation;
