We are opening our first Shared Service Center Worldwide at Sofia and we are looking for:

Infrastructure Support Specialist

Main responsibilities:

  • Apply and ensure locally compliance with all Corporate IT standards, policies, and processes;
  • Provide technical support or training for systems and networks;
  • Install and configure software, operating systems, applications and hardware (printers, network cards etc.) and any other IT infrastructure components used at the GBS location;
  • Monitor system and network performance;
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration: Troubleshooting IT Infrastructure incidents and Application errors, diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults;
  • Taking active part in incident resolution flow through a series of actions;
  • Working with global support teams to resolve both IT infrastructure and Application related issues;
  • Replacing parts as required and maintaining user accounts within the locally supported Applications;
  • Maintaining location specific IT documentations; keeping licenses and inventory up to date;
  • Providing IT infrastructure support for and taking part in the roll-out of new Applications;
  • Performance maintenance activities (e.g. backups);
  • Maintain upgrade schedules;
  • Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality;
  • Maintaining the location specific part of the Active Directory;
  • Complying with GBS Global IT Architecture; Global & Local Operational and Global IT Security processes and policies;
  • Support the provision of Corporate IT services at the company by executing the local part of the service process;
  • Implement and deliver additional local IT services to meet local company requirements not covered by Corporate IT services.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience on the field of IT Infrastructure;
  • IT Technician qualification is a must;
  • Detailed understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows environment as well as the; Applications in scope of the incumbent responsibilities is a minimum;
  • Additional IT Infrastructure & Application disciplines are preferred (i.e. Networking; Database management, etc.);
  • Fluency in English;
  • Experience in basic Vendor management processes is preferred;
  • Strong expertise on local and wide area network including WIFI connectivity.
