Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our positive, strong and flexible Marketing & Recruitment team. Unlike simply filling seats, we are responsible for an ongoing process that tends to raise awareness and promote MentorMate as an employer of choice across the software community in Bulgaria.

You'll enjoy the challenge of supporting hiring initiatives through creatively sourcing potential candidates, interviewing applicants and guiding them through the hiring process. You’ll be fueling our growth by finding talents that will shape MentorMate’s future.

What will be your role

  • Manage different channels for candidate sourcing, including direct advertising, database leads, recruitment agencies, social media, pro-active headhunting, alumni organizations, and professional websites
  • Arrange phone and/or video interviews, connecting top candidates with hiring managers by coordinating schedules
  • Interview and evaluate candidates
  • Manage candidate information in our Applicant Tracking System
  • Ensure a great candidate experience from initial contact to offer
  • Build strong relationships with current and prospective applicants
  • Organize and participate in our initiatives and events
  • Help us to find creative new ways to enhance our employer branding efforts and positive image among the software community
  • Assist in other marketing & recruitment projects/tasks to add value and continually improve the overall process

What do you need to have

  • At least 1 year (the more the better) IT recruitment experience gained either in an agency or in-house environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Bulgarian and English
  • Excellent people skills – a demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical individuals, both in gathering information and communicating direction and status
  • Ability to quickly and expertly build relationships with candidates
  • Good prioritization and organizational skills
  • Creative mindset, able to think outside the box
  • Proactive attitude
  • Passion for recruitment
  • Experience in Employer Branding will be considered as an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resources or equivalent
