Technical Support Engineer


What are we looking for?

Your role:

As a Technical Support Engineer you will be responsible for taking ownership for customers' issues, delivering effective technical and customer support for SBTech’s retail program, supporting solutions for both technical and non-technical end-users.

Essential functions:

  • Resolving network issues, configuring operating systems and using remote connections to provide immediate support
  • Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
  • Interact with developers, account managers, business people and subject matter experts in order to collect and gather relevant needed technical information
  • Participation in providing training to customers as required

Your climbing gear:

  • 1+ years of experience as a​Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/ issues
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to extract and present the most important information on an understandable level
