We are currently looking for Sales and Operations Planning Lead to join our team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sales & Operations Planning Lead, HVOR (Heavy Vehicle Off Road) will oversee the Sales & Operations Planning process (S&OP) for the Business Unit globally and ensure the delivery, continuous improvement and standardization of the process. This position will help to manage the S&OP process for Sensata to efficiently achieve customer service levels & Sensata’s revenue projections. It is a highly visible position with interaction regionally and globally and with all levels of the supported business and manufacturing site leadership teams.

  • Operate with both regional and make site planning teams to hold an overview of the whole S&OP delivery.
  • Play a key role to ensure the mitigation for supply-demand imbalance issues are addressed in the medium term planning horizon leveraging planning systems to highlight gaps, flagging them and driving resolution through the S&OP meetings.
  • Give senior leadership line of sight of deltas between demand and capacity plans in the medium term.


WHAT TO EXPECT:

  • Drive continuous improvement and standardization of S&OP processes.
  • Facilitate greater integration between the business units and make site teams.
  • Review supply demand imbalance and drive and support mitigation actions.
  • Drive early identification of trigger points and preparatory actions of long lead time actions.
  • Broker trade-off decisions and follow up actions to ensure supply and demand are balanced.
  • Drive focus and well timed decisions and actions which would reduce costs, improve demand-supply balance, manage capacity and resources.
  • Prepare the supply-demand data and presentation for Business Unit S&OP meetings.
  • Attend regional and make site S&OP meetings.
  • Ensure S&OP cycle meetings happen in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage activities outside of the step meetings to ensure proper communication and effective issue resolution.
  • Follow up actions and synchronize the S&OP team, understanding problems and mitigating opportunities supported by effective communication.
  • Occasionally travel up to 10% to other Sensata sites.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • 3 - 5 years related experience
  • Experience linking key supply chain performance measures with financial results.
  • Experience in working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
  • Engineering degree preferred, BS in Supply Chain, Finance or similar required.
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills.
  • Strong Excel skills for development of analytical models.
  • Demonstrated ability to accept new ideas, engage in creative, innovative and systemic thinking to develop unique, differentiated solutions to complex problems.
  • Ability to listen, influence others, manage change and effectively motivate through open communication.
  • Ability to prioritize critical issues and display the initiative and flexibility in dealing with them.
  • Experience in Program and Project Management.
  • Understanding of an ERP system; Oracle experience is preferred.
  • Experience with global projects and communication is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
