Product Manager, Rapid Transfer

We are looking to recruit a Product Manager to be part of the Product Team responsible for owning and delivering Rapid Transfer product vision across the group. The selected person will be responsible for transforming customer and business requirements into successful product features and enhancements.

This role would also need to work closely with our customers, engineers, business, sales, legal, compliance and operational teams across the Paysafe Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Roadmap custodianship: work closely with the Senior Product Manager and the Head of Product, Rapid Transfer, to draw and co-own the short and long-term product priorities and roadmap. The aim is to transform business objectives, into frictionless and sticky customer-facing solutions
  • Product design: partner with the user experience and design team (UX and UI) to incorporate quantitative and qualitative data and research into product iterations and optimization roadmaps. Promote and support a test and learn culture, sharing the findings across the business. This role is also responsible for enabling design assets needed for development and optimization.
  • Product requirements: business and functional stakeholders. These requirements must be further detailed and broken down into build specifications to be used by the engineering teams. The person in this role is expected to take initiative in ensuring cross-functional alignment on all key features and enhancements.
  • Development support and delivery responsibility: the person in this role is expected to work closely with at least one agile team and will be responsible for the roadmap, designs, specifications and deliverables of this team. This role would also be responsible for acquiring stakeholder sign-off during the requirement capturing and the user acceptance testing phase. From time to time, this role would be required to assist with production troubleshooting and problem resolution as needed in support of the continued success of the product

Other roles/ responsibilities

  • The people person: maintain strong working relationships within the team and with stakeholders across various functions
  • The spy: always be on top of the competition to identify unaddressed customer pain-points and market opportunities and recommend enhancements and new features, backed by a strong, data-based, business case
  • The customer’s advocate: always retain strong customer focus

Necessary Requirements:

  • 2-4 years’ experience working as a product manager/owner within the Fintech / payments/ banking space, across multiple product development stages
  • Passionate about and experienced in building customer-facing products, using agile methodologies (including practical, demonstrated knowledge of using Jira)
  • Entrepreneurial in temperament with keenness to work in a multi-cultural, start-up like culture
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (must love interacting with people and working collaboratively)
  • Ability to multi-task and plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with building large-scale business products
  • Experience within FinTech, PSD2 / Open Banking knowledge would be optimal
  • Practical experience of product prototyping (Invision) and working closely with UX, UI teams
  • Bachelors or/and Masters in Computer Science
  • Technical background with experience working with API technologies – REST, OAuth, JSON as well as common programming languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Java etc.
