Technical Support Representative

POSITION PURPOSE:
Our office in Sofia is a key part of the Hostway organization, both in continuing our global expansion and in our dedication to providing unparalleled technical support. We want YOU to become a part of our international family for the position of Technical Support Representative. Your role as a Technical Support Representative is to provide world class technical support to Hostway Web Hosting customers, exceeding customer expectations in a considerate and efficient manner.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for taking inbound calls, chats or emails from existing Hostway customers to answer technical questions regarding Web hosting, Email, Domain names and other Internet applications and services.
  • Communicate with customers to determine root cause of issues and provide recommendations and direction for successful resolution.
  • Take ownership of customer concerns and issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Eliminate customer confusion or frustration using empathy and consideration to reach amicable solutions.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Is fluent in English.
  • Is willing to work shifts that include day, night and weekend hours.
  • Is passionate about the web hosting industry and has experience with building/maintaining websites.
  • Is willing to learn, improve and work efficiently in a team according to performance requirements and standards set by the company.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:
  • Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Must be available to work on shifts that include night and weekend hours.
  • Previous Call Center experience preferred.
  • Must be well organized and detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot email programs such as Outlook.
  • Working knowledge in a Windows and / or Mac based environment. Basic UNIX and / or Linux are preferred, not required.
