You could be part of a dedicated team of experts supporting the diverse and exciting engineering in Sensata. The team is growing in skill and numbers and helping transform how simulation is used in our business.

We are now hiring Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Design Engineer.

Main purpose of the job:
Independently performing analyses based on the received request for simulation and design decisions will be taken as a result from the outcome. Part of the job of a FEA engineer is also to study the products and the manufacturing process in order to simulate them better.


Performing a FEA of Structural, Thermal, Dynamic, Electric-Thermal models.
Understanding the physical events behind the mathematical formulas
Good understanding of material models
Explain results calculated by the FEA software
Performing physical experiments
Validating FEA models
Communication and analyses discussions with external and internal clients


Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical engineering or Physics;
Knowledge of Multiphysics phenomena (like thermal-structural, thermal-electrical problems) is advantage
Experience in CAD software (SolidWorks is an advantage);
Knowledge of FEM software (ANSYS is an advantage);
Experience in MS Office;
English skills (B1 level);
Good organizational and communication skills;
