Import Specialist

BestaMed is a wholesaler of pharmaceutical products. We take pride in our flexible, entrepreneurial environment and innovative business model – we are the leader in the market of parallel pharmaceutical distribution in Bulgaria. Our corporate office is located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
We have an immediate opening for Import Specialist, who will take care of purchasing process, communication with clients and prospects – wholesale companies from European market. The Import Specialist will have a specific focus on purchasing and developing the company portfolio with responsibility for the entire business cycle. Additional responsibilities include administrative duties to help run the office document flow.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with clients and prospects;
  • Manage customer relations and make ongoing analysis of prospects and clients;
  • Participate in expo events and field visits to clients;
  • Assist in business development: promotion of new products in order to expand the portfolio;
  • Managing purchasing quantities with forecast on product demand on local market;
  • Coordinate purchasing initiatives with key functional areas: regulatory affairs and finance;
  • Perform general office administration tasks including minute-taking, filing of purchase orders, inventory and fulfillment samples, processing mail and courier;
  • Travel - 15%.

Requirements:
  • Excellent English. Any other foreign language will be considered as an advantage;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • 2+ years experience in purchasing/sales;
  • Bachelor’s degree in business related major or equivalent is considered a plus;
  • Driving license is considered a plus.

Personal Skills:
  • Strong communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail;
  • Self-starter and self-motivated, with proven capacity to work both independently and as a key member of a team with a high level of follow up ability;
  • Comfortable with multi-tasking, problem solving, and decision-making;
  • Well developed time management skills;
  • Have to be creative;
  • Have to be able to deliver on set targets.
