Trainee Program for Sales & Marketing

In case of successful completion of the trainee program, there is an option for long term engagement.

Your responsibilities:

Experience the operations of an international company first hand during an on-the-job training in three different six-month assignments over the course of 18 months including trip abroad.
Explore your interests through challenging and impactful assignments where you are fully integrated into the team.
During the trainee program, you will gain a solid understanding of the different sales functions and their interfaces.

  • Within these 18 months, you will work on a customer project and get to know ABB’s products and processes.
  • You will have the opportunity to work and see different segments from the business – Customer service, Product Management, Project Management, Robotics, e-Mobility, Photovoltaics.
  • The strategic aspects of sales are in focus. At the end of the program, you will have a holistic understanding of sales, services and the products at ABB.

Your background:

  • Recently graduated Bachelor or Master level with Engineering studies with business knowledge and/or business studies with a technical background
  • Previous Sales experience or exposure to Sales software and techniques is a plus
  • No more than 1.5 years of relevant work experience
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Dynamic and flexible mindset combined with a determined and solution-focused personality including strategic and target-oriented thinking and acting
  • Strong self-initiative and trustworthy
