Pricing Specialist

Team Description & Purpose of Role:

This role reports to Team Leader, Global Sales Desk and fits under the Central Enterprise Sales Team, who are based in Berlin and Sofia. The team is strongly multi-national and made up of 3 principle activities — remote Account Management, Sales Engineering & Administrative Support.

The Global Sales Desk support Interoute’ s transactional (repeat business) customer base, by providing manual pricing of solutions to ensure a fast turnaround in transactional business and help drive up the quote to win ratio.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct quoting for transactional customers:
    • Respond to quote requests from customers directly
    • Use online and excel pricing tools to combine third party costs with our own service charges to create bespoke pricing for customers
    • Liaise with internal departments and customers to capture all required information for order creation and processing.
    • Support the Sales Teams in developing new business with new accounts.
    • Follow up on quotes to understand changes to requirements, solutions or pricing; to ensure Interoute has the highest chance of winning the deal
    • Submit requests for any off-net connectivity to meet customer requirements
    • Keep reports and data for Account Team to ensure the correct pricing and approach is taken with customers
    • Record activities in Salesforce and other reporting tooling
  • Large bid requests
  • Any other sales admin related activities upon request.

Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a sales support or complex administration function.
  • Strong computer skills and good levels of competence in main Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel, PowerPoint desirable
  • Experience of using a CRM, ideally Siebel, will be beneficial.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy while being able to maintain higher workload.
  • Professional and articulate.
  • Fluent English
