Relationship Manager
The Role:
  • The purpose of the role is to build and manage rapport with individual and institutional clients so as to ensure optimum customer acquisition, retention and income generation.
  • Ensuring delivery of industry-leading customer service, premier on boarding experience and advisory service to new and existing customers.
  • To identify and develop a target pipeline and aggressively market for new profitable status customers from the identified target sectors.
  • Manage key customer relationships through regular contacts.
  • Maintain high professional standards and strive to provide quality services and competitive pricing to clients.
  • Cultivate good rapport with clients.
  • Continuously identify and exploit cross selling opportunities.
  • Establish quality profit earning customer relationship within the target market.
  • Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential customers.
The Ideal Profile:
  • Fluency English is required.
  • Certificate as Broker/Investment Advisor is an advantage.
  • BS in Finance, Economics, Law or Accounting.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar function within an international business.
  • Due to the nature of the role, understanding sensitivity of issues and the need for discretion and confidentiality are essential attributes.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships with colleagues. Demonstrable maturity, professionalism and gravitas.
  • Extremely well organized.
  • IT literate - excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages in particular, Outlook email and diary management and confidence in using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to communicate with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, with an ability to work and think under own initiative.
