Supervisor - Global Mobility, Compensation and Recruitment

This position is responsible for assisting with Global Mobility assignments, compensation and system setup and assisting others with supporting international assignments. This includes process delivery, data research and analysis, tools and compliance as well as client/vendor interaction. This position requires a desire to work with various levels of employees and management, along with various cultures.
The position is responsible to managing a team of Global Mobility specialists, including people management, performance management etc. 
In addition, this position will be accountable for the supervision of the delivery of Services from the CBS Center to key stakeholders. 

Principal Accountabilities

Operational Management :
  • Ensures that all functional processes are defined, documented, maintained, communicated and implemented  
  • Provides guidance on the SOPs and ensures a SOP adherence of all team members 
  • Responsible Problem Identification, Prioritization and Resolution planning  
  • Generate ideas of systems and processes optimization and automation
  • Acts as a first level of escalation for internal stakeholders, external business partners and team members
  • Takes ownership of high priority escalations ensuring the correct priorities and resources are assigned and coordinates with internal stakeholders and external business partners as necessary
  • Escalates issues which cannot be resolved by the team to the Direct Manager
  • Ensures that the team addresses all relevant issues with accordance to the agreed SLAs and Business Rules
  • Communicates priorities for the team in line with the overall Global Mobility priorities 
  • Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule
  • Ensure preparation of daily/weekly/monthly reports as required by the management 
  • Keep the management informed of task accomplishment, issues and status of individual or groups projects
  • Act as a backup of the other Supervisors in their absence
  • Provide guidance to the team based on management direction
  • Seek new ideas and ways to improve performance of the team, by identifying the training needs
Team / people management
  • Manage the performance (service, productivity and quality) of a team of delivering day to day Global Mobility services to the assignees.
  • Plan, organise, and control the operations and work activities of the team.
  • Provide operational guidelines and direction to the direct reports, supervises their work. 
  • Train, coach and guide the team on operational and technical level: SOPs, systems, policies and business rules
  • Responsible for the proper distribution of the workload in the team in line with the communicated priorities, making sure all deadlines/timelines are kept
  • Monitoring of the performance metrics to ensure quality service and timely actions.Employee selection, onboarding, managing performance, goal setting, leading, coaching and developing the team. 
  • Provide a role model for team members and coach and develop individuals to ensure they reach their maximum potential.
  • 5-7 years of business experience in a large, complex, multi-national environment
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Transition Manager or similar
  • 2-3 years of people management experience 
  • Experiences in Shared service centers / delivery center 
  • Fluency in English 
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills, combined with the ability to translate HR principles into practical application
  • Proven ability to drive discipline and process orientation in a large complex organization
  • Demonstrated influence and leadership skills, and ability to champion change and inspire others with excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship building skills
  • Result oriented
  • Able to work independently and with minimum supervision 
  • Can-do attitude 
  • Willingness to work in a green-field terrain and ability to establish the necessary procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively influence and drive organizational change.  
Preferred Qualifications
  • University degree in Business Studies or economics
  • Lean Six Sigma 
  • HR experience is an advantage, but not a must
