Senior Compliance Trainer

Technementals Technologies (Bulgaria) EAD is a subsidiary of FXCM Group. The Senior Compliance Trainer develops and maintains Compliance training programs to include face to face, online and other interactive methods to deliver content to a variety of audiences.
This position develops and implements training initiatives as they relate to global regulatory and compliance programs specific to UK, EU and AU region.
This includes researching current issues and assessing training needs, recommending training solutions, and developing and delivering training materials.
The incumbent is a subject matter expert to the organization on compliance related topics and interacts with all business lines as it pertains to compliance training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Compliance Department Leadership and Subject Matter Experts to develop, maintain and administer a comprehensive Compliance onboarding and continuing education training program
  • Develops and oversee the Company’s Compliance Training Program for all staff and Management
  • Performs training needs assessments and solicits feedback from other departments on current issues impacting the Company’s compliance and regulatory programs in order to recommend and develop training solutions
  • Designs, develops and facilitates compliance-related training courses and materials including reference guides, forms and logs
  • Administers the classroom learning management records systems; maintains company-wide compliance training schedules, evaluates effectiveness of current tools and programs and updates or modifies as necessary. Administrates the e-learning system, including user enrollment, access, and updates processes, including addressing user’s access and training content inquiries. Monitors performance company-wide for e-learning modules and compliance classroom training for each employee. Creates comprehensive tracking and benchmarking reports, including periodic reporting to the Company’s governance boards and business lines
  • Performs follow-up actions regarding training issues with senior management and Human Resources departmen
  • Responsible for researching, customizing and reviewing compliance e-learning modules in accordance with regulatory changes or risk needs
  • Prepares and presents related reporting and documentation for compliance regulatory examinations, internal and external audits and the Head of Compliance to demonstrate compliance
  • Attends presentations, seminars and courses, and reads publications pertaining to Compliance in financial services regulated firms to maintain and expand current knowledge of the field
  • Required to travel to other company locations globally

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Organizational Development or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
  • 3 years of training, facilitation or awareness experience in financial services, or other highly regulated industry including 2 years of experience designing training programs through multiple delivery platforms

Additional Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, practices, and procedures and methodologies
  • Ability to establish rapport and effectively influence at all levels within an organization
  • Customer service orientated with effective problem solving abilities
  • High level of enthusiasm and creativity
  • Advanced delivery skills including communication, presentation, coaching and facilitation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal & written)
  • Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel spreadsheet software. Solid knowledge of PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Brainshark and Outlook is preferred. Proficiency with office presentation applications and equipment

Travel & Working Hours Requirement

  • Ability to travel few times a year when training needs arise
  • Training time may need to be administered outside of the normal office hour to meet the North America or Asia time zone needs

Start Date: ASAP

Contract type: Labor contract with "Technementals Technologies (Bulgaria)" EAD

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
