Training Content Specialist

Role Summary:

The Talent Management team’s vision is to improve our employee’s working lives by upskilling and providing greater career development opportunities than any of our competitors in the technology space.

The Talent Management team is part of a wider HR department and will work in conjunction with our HR leaders across different regions driving the talent strategy forward whilst always evangelising our approach.

This is a strategic role working closely with Interoute’s management teams across the organization and partnering closely with the Manager of Talent Management & Development in driving the Talent & Learning strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work with Internal Trainers, Product Management teams, Systems/Business Process Owners and the Sales community in collating internal material to design in Adobe Presenter to upload and manage on Interoute’s LMS platform.
  • Provide constant updates on new training material available to the Talent Management & Development team and wider HR BP’s.
  • Quality Assure all internal training content uploaded on the LMS
  • Manage and Design Learning Paths for all internal training content on the LMS.
  • Partner with department managers promoting the internal training content that is relevant for their areas.
  • Partner and support Internal Training Managers producing any relevant content that needs to be designed and uploaded on the LMS.
  • Support the Talent Management & Development Advisor administering all LMS content both internally and from external providers.
  • Support the TMD Advisor producing Learning paths for all departments.
  • Review and recommend new Learning approaches, content, techniques as part of the evolution of the Talent and Learning function.
  • Manage and promote the internal mentoring/shadowing/coaching schemes undertaking training for mentors & mentees’ up to Director/VP Level.
  • Support the TMD Advisor collating and quality assuring external trainings undertaken across the regions.
  • Provide reporting metrics on usage of the LMS and trainings completed.
  • Be the Subject Matter Expert for all things LMS related.
  • Provide advice/guidance to HR BPs on Learning paths and LMS.
  • Manage the coordination New Starter Inductions.

Essential Criteria:

  • Strong stakeholder management up to Senior Manager/Director level with excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent experience with Adobe Captivate.
  • Excellent experience designing courseware material using PowerPoint.
  • Experience using an LMS system (Workday desirable but not essential) and Content providers such as SkillSoft.
  • Experience of designing reports using excel.
  • Experience working in a Learning & Development environment managing both Internal and External Training content.
  • Experience designing learning paths.
  • Excellent understanding of Talent framework utilizing both e-learning, external training and mentoring tools in upskilling our people.
  • Excellent understanding of LMS, reporting metrics and Content providers.
  • Must have the attitude of always asking yourself Why and How we can improve.

Qualifications/Courses:

  • Relevant HR qualifications/degrees or relevant work experience.

Hours/Travel/Shift:

  • Normal business hours & 10 to 20% Travel per month.
