Facilities Manager

We are on the lookout for an ultimate organiser and highly adaptive Facility Manager to join our team in Sofia. This varied role requires somebody with great interpersonal skills, who is able to prioritize and has flexible approach so he/she can provide a working environment for the whole staff which is secure, safe and technically functioning, sustainable and compliant with all the local legislations.
We need someone to lead and develop a team and to provide reporting and documentation of the premises as well as managing the facilities budget.


To manage office and facilities related projects within time and budget you need to perform the following Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, implements and optimizes new and existing services to ensure continuous improvement of the quality of service and efficient cost development.
  • Ensures a functional, legally compliant and economic efficient working environment and provide reporting thereof. Manages all office premises at the location efficiently by carrying out regular space utilisation audits and co-ordinating maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for an efficient and effective resource allocation of the location. Forecasts cost impacts on facilities and office management related processes and services and suggests solutions for optimisation. Manages location budget and assists with the preparation of the annual budget.
  • Provides data on a regular basis to carry out an in-depth cost and performance analysis of the location and services and strives for continuous improvement of departmental key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Carries out and delivers local projects in the area of facilities and office management and provides timely project reporting as required by the Head of Facilities.

Your Profile

  • Experience in managing a facilities team - 2 years or more
  • Significant experience with legal regulations in the field of building management, suppliers and contractors, rental agreements and with security and safety regulations in the respective location.
  • Qualification in Facilities Management or related area
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Service oriented and customer focused
  • Fluent spoken and written English (negotiation and business level)
  • Experience in managing small and large refurbishments, moves and other Facilities/Office Management related projects
  • Customer service and quality management experience
  • Experience with logistics and transportation
  • Computer savvy – great MS office skills


  • Qualification/experience in environmental management
  • Strong Project management background and qualifications
  • Experience with certifications or audits in the area of security or at least any Facility Management related area.
